Hi, Is anyone else using one of these? I’d share some wav files from the session so that you could assess the noise level etc yourself – but I’m too embarrassed at how badly we played. Firewire driver Installation guide: I would be interested in knowing if anyone is successfully using one of these with SP2. Made In Breizh AFicionado.

But, I have been waiting for this product to be released for some time now. Hi Rendboell I’m on Windows 7 and I’m very interested by your post. I had the latency down to 2. The problem is not the Hercules drivers, but the firewire drivers.

It has caused no end of compatability problems in a huge range of products and software.

CPU load and latency in the Hercules are both tolerable for my needs. Steve firwire only ever quote myself – except when I quote someone else’ – meplenty ofand, triggered acoustics, and a plethora of PA blah blah freakin blah They have figured out an elegant way of using herfules laptop as an external DSP device.

I have to say the Hercules performed flawlessly! Seems to work fine without Service Pack 2 though.

No Windows7 drivers, no 64bits drivers. Se connecter Devenir membre. I mean does anyone care about the specifics of pedals, speakers, processors, hardware or anything that I’m using?? I made a small mistake in the guide. But, it is too large for my main goal The drivers can be downloaded by clicking here BTW – still a VERY happy user of this device and would recommend it to anyone – I have also used it with my laptop and it works great!

Perhaps on this step: I have also been looking for a notebook based recording solution. Many thanks for your help If it is only flakey with SP2, that seems to be a small price to pay for potential that this little box holds. En utilisant ces derniers, vous acceptez l’utilisation des cookies.

I’d share some wav files from the session so that you could assess the noise level etc yourself – but I’m too embarrassed at how badly we played. The noise floor was VERY low – the recordings sounded very clean – the main problem was our complete lack of musical talent – resulting in an awful row – BUT the Hercules 1/612 it perfectly.

Just a shame the drivers seem pretty flakey! Hmmm, maybe this is an appropriate place to mention that I tried out a new cymbal stand the other day So, this little box could be a solution.
